On August 15 Feast of Assumption of Mother Mary and 80th Independence Day celebration began with Eucharistic celebration at 7:00 a.m, at St. Joseph Vaz church, Mudipu. Rev. Fr Vikas Pereira Asst parish priest was the main celebrant.
On this special occasion, the program started with flag hosting by Rev. Fr Vikas Pereira Assistant Priest St Joseph Vaz Church Mudipu and addressed the gathering. Mr. Roshan Dsouza, Secretary of Parish council, Mr. Joel Dsouza Ayog Coordinator, Sr. Fatima, Superior Holy Family of Nazareth Convent, Ms. Fiona Cutinha Animator ICYM, were present. Ozwin Veigas, President ICYM welcomed the gathering, Jenisha Monteiro delivered the vote of thanks and Jenisha Monteiro compered the program.
