The Second day of the annual feast
The Second day of annual feast of St Joseph Vaz Shrine was celebrated with great devotion on 3rd December, 2022. At 10:00 am, Fr Assisi Rebello, the Parish Priest and Shrine Rector, Fr Ronald Pinto, the Asst Parish Priest Mudipu Church, Parish Pastoral Council Vice President Mr Naveen Dsouza and the Secretary Dr Irene Veigas along shrine committee and PPC members extended a solemn welcome to Most Rev Dr. Francis Serrao Bishop to the shrine.
The solemn Eucharist celebration of the third day of the annual feast of St Joseph Vaz Shrine Mudipu was presided over by Most Rev Dr. Francis Serrao Bishop of Shimoga Diocese. Fr. Andrew Dsouza Parish priest Bajal, Fr. Henry Dsouza Parish priest Salethur, Fr Ashwin Cardoza Director ICYM Mangalore Diocese, Fr Assisi Rebello Shrine Rector Fr. Rony Pinto Asst Parish Priest Mudipu concelebrated the Eucharist.
Many devotees took part in the festal celebration all the piligrims were given Anna Santharpane.
Fr Assisi Rebello, the Parish Priest thanked the devotees. Bishop honoured the donors with candles and blessed them for their generosity.Fr Vijay Machado, the Director of Mangala Jyothi, compered the liturgical celebration.
Shri U.T Khadar MLA Mangaluru constituency, Shri Chandrahas karkera Ex taluk panchayath president, Shri Santhosh Kumar Rai Boliyar Vice President BJP Dakshina kannada visited the shrine visited and seeked the blessings and conveyed their wishes for the feast.
